The ClarkDietrich Pony Wall is a partial-wall-to-floor connection that supports out-of-plane loads on cantilevered pony walls and knee walls unsupported at the top track. Loads transfer to the floor through a welded base plate. The Heavy series uses a 12-gauge structural stud for commercial and higher-load partial walls up to 48" tall.

Installation

• Anchor the base plate to the floor structure as specified by the Engineer of Record (EOR).
• Attach framing studs to both flanges of the Pony Wall support.
• Use a minimum 12 gauge stud member with this connector.
