U975 is a 97mil (12ga) EasyClip™ U-Series™ clip angle, 5-3/4" long with 1-1/2" legs. U-channel is passed through the stud knockout and the clip is screw-attached or welded across it, producing the rigid bridging connection used throughout cold-formed steel framing.

- Size: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 5-3/4" (leg x leg x length)
- Legs: 1-1/2" and 1-1/2", pre-punched for screw attachment
- Material: Structural Grade 50 Type H (ST50H), 50 ksi minimum yield
- Coating: G90 (Z275) hot-dipped galvanized
- Sheet steel meets or exceeds ASTM A1003; galvanized coating meets or exceeds ASTM A653
- Common applications: lateral bridging, U-channel to stud connections, miscellaneous rigid connections
