Simpson Strong-Tie HYS12/68 Bypass Hybrid Strut - 14 ga., 25-pack (HYS12/68-KT25)

A hybrid strut that is tested for use as either a slide clip or a rigid clip, commonly used at the bottom of a steel beam where large standoff distances are involved. It can be attached to the structure with screws, powder-actuated fasteners or welds. Slots are positioned to minimize eccentric loading, and No-Equal stamps mark slot centers for correct shouldered-screw placement.
