The Steel Network 250MW-24 MidWall Pony Wall and Knee Wall Anchor (each)

MidWall™ anchors cantilevered partial walls—pony walls and knee walls that aren't braced at the top track—by carrying out-of-plane loads down into the floor system. A ½" plate seats into the member's flanges and fastens to the slab, while pre-drilled guide holes let you attach the upright leg to the stud quickly and accurately. It drops in as a substitute for a standard framing member or works alongside them, eliminating the labor of setting an embedded angle in the floor.

• Transfers out-of-plane loads from unsupported pony and knee walls into the floor system
• ½" base plate nests in the member flanges; anchors with two ⅜" fasteners (one ½" fastener on 250MW)
• Pre-drilled guide holes for fast, accurate attachment to the stud
• Available in 24" and 48" heights and 2.5", 3.625", and 6" depths
• Removes the labor and coordination of embedding an angle in the floor
• 3.625" and 6" sizes meet IBC 2021 Section 1607.9.1
• Formed from certified 50 ksi steel with a G90 galvanized coating
