G686 is a G-Series™ punched gusset plate in 68mil (14ga) steel. Gusset plates are multipurpose connectors for roof framing, header framing, and shear wall connections, and the multi-hole pattern lets one plate adapt to varying construction tolerances instead of being cut to angle.
